Gently passed away on Thursday February 16, 2023 at Northumberland Hills Hospital at the age of 78. Beloved husband and “sweetheart” of Eira for 57 years. Loving father of Sara (Gary), Ryan (Kathy), Katie (Winston) and Aimee (Michael). Proud grandfather of Kirsty, Morgan (Rob), Dylan, Ieuan, Hunter, Rees, Carys and Molly. Dear brother of Craig (Eileen). Brother-in-law of Marion, Shirley and the late Leonard. He will be missed and remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Barrie was an amazing father, not only to his own, but so many more. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Xi and the staff at Northumberland Hills Hospital for their care and compassion. A service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home on Wednesday February 22, 2023 at 12 pm. Visitation will be held from 11 am until service time. A reception will follow the service. Memorial donations may be made to Northumberland Hills Hospital Chemo Clinic.
