Obituary of Barb Lynch
After a lengthly illness, Barbara passed peacefully at the NHS-St. Catharines Hospital with her cherished husband of 44 years, Ed, son Doug (Gaby) Etherington and daughter, Sue (Steve) Dolynski by her side. Predeceased by her loving son, Randy, parents, John and Florence Cripps and brothers Ernie and Don. Barb was a loving Grandma to Chris (Megan) Rob, and Step-Mother to Eddie Jr., Scott and Jimmy; Step-Grandma to Ryan and David. She truly was a beautiful soul and Heaven has gained an Angel like no other as she begins her new journey- healthy, happy and dancing once again. The family extend their gratitude to all the amazing doctors, nurses and PSW’s at the hospital on 3B23. Your kind words and support were much appreciated and did not go unnoticed. In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, funeral arrangements have been entrusted with GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Cremation has taken place and the family invites guests for a time of visitation on Sunday, March 12th from 10:00AM-12:00PM with a Celebration of Life to follow at 12:00PM in the ceremony room with a reception in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall. No cemetery to take place. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Catharines Humane Society (where she adopted her loving and constant companion, Cleo) and/or to the Parkinson’s Society of Canada.
