Foster, Barbara Rose (nee Evoy) March 30, 1938 – February 5, 2023
Barbara passed away peacefully on February 5, 2023 at the Smiths Falls Hospital in her 85th year. Cherished sister of Patricia Stewart, and sister-in-law, Ann Warren. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by loving husband, Allan Joseph Foster; as well as her Mother, Alice Warren (Barber-Evoy); Father, Harry Whitmore; and Sisters & their spouses, Freida McCullough-Buchanan (Hugh & Jack); Joyce De La Franier (Bill); Betty Ringer (Don), Lorna Typhair (Ken); June Wilson (Fred); Faye McCutcheon (Lloyd); by Brother, Donald Warren; and by brother-in-law, Richard Stewart.
Cremation has been entrusted to the Lannin Funeral Home. An interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Smiths Falls in the Spring of 2023. If wishing to make a memorial donation, please consider the Community Presbyterian Church, Almonte or any charity of your choice would be appreciated. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Smiths Falls Hospital for their compassionate care. Their support was of great comfort to Barbara and her family.
