Loving Mother, Aunt, Grandmother and Great Grandmother
It is with sadness the family announce the peaceful passing of Mom on Monday October 14, 2024 at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, in her 95th year. Born in Acton, Ontario, September 16, 1930 to the late Frederick and Ellen “Nellie” Lawson. Cherished mother to Greg Durnan (Jen), Laurie Scott (Alex), Lynn Soloman and Garry Durnan. Dearly missed by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings Lena Burns (Clare), Gordon Lawson, Betty Hall (Sonny) and Ernie Lawson. Survived by her sisters-in-law Jean Lawson and Marie Lawson.
Mom lived a full life, being a member of Grace Anglican Church, Milton, enjoying travelling and she was an avid curler until the age of 84. Most of all she enjoyed being with family and friends. A funeral service will be held at Grace Anglican Church, 317 Main Street East, Milton, on Thursday October 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Private family interment at Fairview Cemetery, Acton, at a later date.
