Roach, Barbara (nee Pond)…. passed away peacefully at Trenton Memorial Hospital surrounded by family on December 9, 2023 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerard «Gerry» Roach. Loving mother to Michael, Joy Troke (late David), Christopher and Stephen (Denise). Cherished grandmother of Andrew (Lisa), Cristin, Sean, Michael (Heather), Justin, Christopher, Aaron (Elizabeth), Meaghan (Chris), David, Elizabeth and her many great grandchildren. Barbara is predeceased by her parents Charles and Myrtle Pond and siblings John, Jude, Betty, Bertha and Charles. Barbara will be greatly missed by her many friends, family and fur baby Cleo. Barbara enjoyed traveling with her husband Gerry, children and grandchildren taking them on numerous trips that included camping & cruising all over the world and when at home she enjoyed the pleasure of a good book and gardening. Family & Friends are invited to visit at the Weaver Family Funeral Home – 29 Bay Street, on Friday December 15th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Saturday December 16th at 10:00 AM. A reception and time of reflection and memories will be held directly following Mass at Weaver’s Life Centre 29 Bay Street. Spring interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery on a date to be determined. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
