Praught, Barbara Ann –
Peacefully, on Friday July 7, 2023 at the Georgetown Hospital. Barb, in her 88th year, wife of the late William Louis «Bill» Praught (2007). Loving mother of Dwaine (Carol). Loved grammie of Meghan, Ryan and Krysten. Dear sister of Joe, Tommy, Charlie, Keith, Donny, Grace, Peggy, Judy, Mary, Carol Ann and Connie. Barb was also predeceased by her brother Jackie and by her sister Gertie. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Barb loved her family and cherished her relationships with those around her. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and all of their friends.
Friends will be received at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown (905) 877-3631 on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 14400 Argyll Road, Georgetown on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Cancer Assistance Services of Halton Hills (CASHH) or the Georgetown Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
