Barbara May Kwandibens, age 51 years passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024. Barbara was born October 30, 1972 in Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Barbara enjoyed playing pool, hanging out at Tony’s, watching NASCAR, movies and her favourite TV shows.
Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her children Renee, Cody, Sandra, Alfreda, Serena and by her grandchildren, her partner Chris Tweddle, siblings Brenda, Arlene, Allison and Phyllis as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Barbara was predeceased by her partner Christ O’Neil, by her parents Basil Machendagoos and Alfreda Kwandibens, brothers Albert and Julian, by her grandparents Raymond and Cecilia Kwandibens and Henry and Rosalie Machendagoos.
The family wishes to thank the Doctor’s and Nurses for the care and compassion they gave Barbara especially those at the Hamilton General Hospital, Juravinski Centre, and Hamilton Health Sciences & St. Joseph’s Hamilton Satellite Health Facility.
A visitation for Barbara will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Sargent and Son Funeral Home on Friday, June 28, 2024. A wake will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Our Lady of Snows R.C. Church, Armstrong with Deacon David Frank officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Armstrong.
