Barbara Ann Hamlin-Caldwell, age 89 from Strawberry Plains, walked through the gates of pearl and joined many of her family in eternity. Barbara took pride in being the best mother and housewife. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Lyons Creek Baptist Church.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Pauline Hamlin; sisters, Kathleen Starr and Jean Edwards; and brothers, Charles Hamlin, Milton Hamlin, and Ronald Hamlin.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 71 years, Albert H. Caldwell Jr.; children, Steven (Geneva) Caldwell, Larry Caldwell, and Scott (Robin) Caldwell; brothers, Edward (Barbara) Hamlin, Billy Joe (Helga) Hamlin, and Mickey (Evelyn) Hamlin; sisters, Hazel Bryant, Phyllis (Howard) Finley, and Gloria Gaillard; grandchildren, Matthew Caldwell, Kristin (Brent) Hansard, Collin Caldwell, and Creighton Caldwell; and great grandchildren, Emma Hansard and Elliott Hansard.
Family and friends will meet 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Eastview Memorial Gardens for a graveside service. A special thank you to Sacred Ground Hospice House for the love and care shown to Barbara during her stay there.
