It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother (Situ) and Great grandmother, Bahigi on September 29, 2024 at 88 years of age.
Reunited with her beloved husband Bahige Wehbe (2004). Loving mother to Aida Azar (Joe), Youssef Wehbe and Zeina Merucci (Angelo). Cherished Grandmother (Situ) to Melissa Khadra (Fouad), Kristina Azar, Amanda Azar and Daniel Azar. Adored Great grandmother to Sophia Rose Khadra. Survived by her sister, Leila Taouil, sister in-law Linda Omar, Bahiga Azar and brother in-law Joseph Wehbe. Predeceased by her parents, Antonios and Naomi Semaan (Omar) and her siblings, Youssef, Wahib, Bahige, Wahiba, Hamame, Amelia, Liza, Samia, Hened and Noelle. Bahigi will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada, Lebanon and Australia.
Bahigi loved her family and enjoyed many family gatherings. She adored her grandchildren, they were her world. We will miss her greatly.
If you so desire, memorial donations can be made to St. Charbel Church in honour of Bahigi.
Visiting will be held on Wednesday October 2, 2024 from 3:00pm-5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm with parish prayers at 8:00pm at Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave. 519-969-5841). Family and friends are invited to the funeral home on Thursday October 3, 2024 to visit from 9:00am- 10:00am followed by procession to St. Charbel Church (5700 Outer Dr. Windsor) for 11:00am funeral mass. Procession to Heavenly Rest for entombment to follow.
