Theodora Kelly (Lyons) The daughter of Theodore and Helen Lyons passed
peacefully at her home on February 7.
Audrey is survived by her husband of 68 years,
Vincent, and daughters Linda, Sandra Stockall (Barry), son Jeffery, 7
grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephew.
She was predeceased by her parents, son, James
William Duncan and her sisters Virginia Smith and Joan Hovey. Audrey
was a graduate of Ottawa Civic Hospital School of Nursing Class of
’52.
She nursed at the Victoria Public hospital
until her youngest began school. Raising 4 children and supporting the
growth of Fernhill Farm became her priority. She carried her medical
knowledge and skills with compassion and love supporting many family
members and friends through times of need. Audrey enjoyed travel with
friends and family. She was a long time and active member of St.
Peter’s Church, its ACW and vestry. She was an avid reader
and enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends.
The family is grateful to all of her caregivers
especially Martina, Amanda and MaryAnne.
Visitation will take place on Friday February
10th 2023 from 6-9 PM at Bishop’s
Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd, Fredericton. A funeral
service will be held from St. Peter’s Anglican Church on
Saturday February 11th, 2023, at 11
AM. A reception to follow in the Church Hall.
Interment will be in the St. Peter’s Anglican Church
Cemetery.
Donations to the Chalmers Hospital Foundation
or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
