Audrey Grace (Ament) Orth of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in her 96th year.
Wife of the late Edgar Orth (2000). Loving mother of Alan & Nancy Orth, and Douglas Orth, all of Listowel.
Proud grandmother of Crystal Orth, Nicole & Luigi Mallozzi, Ryan & Crystal Orth, and Edward Orth & Brittany McDonald, and dearest great-grandmother of Alyssa, Sofia, Colton, Clarke, & Devyn.
Sister of Bruce Ament of Listowel, and Eileen Janelle of Kitchener, and loved also by her nieces, nephews, church family, and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Edward & Ruby (Master) Ament, her sister-in-law Allison Ament, and her brother-in-law John Janelle.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Sunday from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wallace Township, on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating.
The service will be recorded and uploaded here shortly after the service.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
Memorial donations to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wallace Twp., or the Listowel Memorial Hospital would be appreciated.
Audrey’s family wish to thank the staff at Caressant Care Retirement Home, Listowel for their kindness and care of Mom during her short time there, the North Perth Family Health team, and Dr. Rob Annis and Dr. Barb Matthews and the nurses at Listowel Memorial Hospital for their excellent and compassionate care.
