Audrey Edna Marchant (nee Earle)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Audrey Marchant, aged 98 on May 1, 2024, in Kingston Ontario.
Born in Ottawa in 1925 she attended Lisgar Collegiate Institute and was an elementary school teacher until she retired and pursued her interests in art and writing short stories.
In 2013 she moved to Kingston to be near her remaining family.
Predeceased by parents Colin Earle and Edna Earle (Thatcher), husband Cyril Marchant, and sister Vera Storring (Grant).
She will be greatly missed by her nephew Greg Storring (Cheryl) and Rhonda Storring as well as a great nephew and niece and their children.
The family would like to thank the Rosewood Retirement Home staff for their compassionate care while Audrey was in declining health. She was happy to remain there knowing that the Rosewood would be her forever home.
A private family graveside service will be held later this month in Ottawa.
