Of Moorefield passed away peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Thursday, August 22, 2024 in her 102nd year. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Roy Cummings. Dear mother of Bill and Kathy Cummings of Palmerston, Linda and Butch Brown of Kitchener, the late Lois Schleuter (1968) and the late Loy Franklin (1981). Loving Grandmother of Michael Schleuter of Calgary, Darlene and Phil Stelzer of Vanastra, Jim Schleuter (Vesla) of Calgary; Chris and Jennifer Cummings of Rockwood, Jeff and Jessica Cummings of Harriston; Jody and Allison Brown of Kitchener; the late Shelly Franklin (2023), Tammy Franklin of Woodstock and Cory Franklin (Terri Lynne) of Guelph. She will be missed by her great grandchildren Anthony Stelzer, Cynthia and Matt Standfast, Vic and Aysha Schleuter, Parker, Preston, Katiane and Kaylee Cummings, Tristen Tenny and Meghan Schleuter and Reed and Owen Brown. Loving great great grandmother of Chase, Elliott, Finley, Everett and the late baby Audrey. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Audrey is the last of the Law family.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Rev. Jeff Hawkins will conduct the Funeral Service of Remembrance in the Moorefield Community Centre on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. followed by cremation and burial in Bethesda Cemetery.
