Aubrey’s Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of Aubrey Ryan announce his passing on Tuesday, July 4th,2023 at his family residence. Aubrey was born in Woody Cove, Rockey Harbour on August 14th,1947 to Florabell and Peter Ryan. He leaves to mourn with many fond memories his wife Wanda (nee Feltham); daughters: Flora, Vera (Adrian), son: Peter and grandchildren; Leo, Blake and Logan. His siblings; Bernard and Marie (Frazer) Bennett. Brother-in law Wayne (Lori) Feltham, Sisters-in-law; Lillian (Mike) Borgal, Betty (Shawn) Ralph and Charlotte (Paul) Feltham-Goulding. Also leaving to mourn are many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Aubrey was predeceased by his parents Florabell and Peter Ryan. Parents-in-law Margaret and Raymond Feltham and sister-in-law Jane Ryan.
Aubrey was a proud and loyal member of the Rocky Harbour Fire Department for over 35 tears. Everyone knew if they called this wonderful man , he would be there in a heartbeat, whether it be when the fire department got a call, a family member or a friend was in need. He would be the first one there, making sure everyone was safe and taken care of no matter how big or small the problem.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Bowen, Carolann, Dr. Park for their ongoing care and compassion. A special thank you to the Rocky Harbour RCMP, paramedics and RN who attended to Aubrey. Also an extra special thank you to the Angel that was there that day, walking down the street, who helped Wanda with everything.
In lieu of flowers donations to the family to help with funeral expenses will be graciously accepted.
The visitation will take place at the Pentecostal Church in Rocky Harbour on Thursday, July 6th,2023 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Where also the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7th,2023 at 3 pm with Pastor Ryan Ball officiating, interment will follow at the family plot in the Pentecostal Cemetery, Rocky Harbour.
