God called Ascenzo peacefully on March 13th, 2023 at the age of 88. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Maria. Cherished by his dear children, Robert (Eliana), Luisa, and Natale (Karyn). Proud Nonno to Matthew Ascenzo (Sabrina), Mark (Sara), Samantha, Daniel, Mikayla, Lucas, Andrew, and Olivia. Ascenzo will always be remembered by his sister Francesca and sister-in-law, Iolanda. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. If so desired, donations in memory of Ascenzo may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation and the Canadian Cancer Society.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Friday, March 17th, 2023 from 5-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 18th, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church. (8500 Islington Ave., south of Langstaff Rd.). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Garden (1810 Albion Rd., at Hwy 27).
