Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Arthur “Gerald” Radbourne. Gerald passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Monday, January 23rd, 2023, in his 86th year.
Dearly loved husband of the late Mary Radbourne (née Wilson) (2019) for 58 years. Loving father of Barbara Radbourne of Guelph, David Radbourne (Cindy Posthumus) of Tara and Phyllis Vail (Bill), of Meaford. Dear grandfather of Lyndon Vail (Brittany), Brandon Vail, Tyler Radbourne (Jessica), Amie Radbourne and great-grandfather of Leah, Asher & Kinsley. Gerald will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Earl and Gertrude Radbourne, his siblings, Dorothy, Leonard, Hazel, Bruce, Victor, Harry, and his great-granddaughter, Eleanor.
Friends are invited to join the family at a Memorial Visitation at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario, N4K 3X8, 519-376-7492, on Sunday, January 29th, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. A Private Graveside Service will be held in the spring at Zion Cemetery, Hepworth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Owen Sound Regional Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society for Multiple Myeloma would be appreciated. Condolences can be sent to Gerald’s family by visiting his memorial at www.woodfuneralhome.ca
