Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Arnold’s journey led him and his family to Canada in 1988, where he would make an impact on those around him. He possessed a rare talent, using his hands to create magic in various ways, and he generously shared that magic with anyone who needed his help. Arnold’s willingness to lend a hand and be a friend to so many earned him a special place in the hearts of all who knew him.
Arnold’s sense of humor was playful and infectious, bringing laughter and joy to those in his presence. His gentle soul was a source of comfort and support for countless individuals who sought solace in his company. Arnold was the kind of person with whom you could share your burdens and complaints, and he would listen with empathy, offering whatever words he could muster to uplift and console.
A loving husband to Anita, brother to Rhona (Cyril) and Mervyn (Erika), a caring father to Belinda (Anthony) and Malcolm (Pnina), stepfather to Eytan (Emily), Sharon (Jeff) and Tamar (Jo) and a devoted Zaidy to Zachary, Rachel, Hailey, Carly, Sean, Ben, Naomi, Nate, Noa, Mia, Baila, Mateo and Gabriel. Arnold’s family was the center of his world. His dedication to his loved ones was unwavering, and the void left by his departure is felt deeply by all who knew and loved him.
As we mourn Arnold’s untimely departure, we are reminded of the hole left in our hearts. His memory will forever live on through the cherished moments we shared and the profound impact he made on our lives.
