Peacefully in her sleep on May 13, 2023 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Quintino. Will be dearly missed by her children Carmelina, Pelino, Italo, Sandra (Joe) Boirier, and Anna. Loving Nonna of Joseph, Kristen, and Alessandro. Predeceased by her parents Italo and Felicetta Anile. Dear sister of Adriana DiBerardino and Concetta Incani. Argia was born in Secinaro, L’Aquila, Italy in 1935. While she could certainly be found passionately tending to her gardens, Argia’s greatest joy would be from spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. She was always steadfast in her mission to ensure everyone in her family was well looked after. We were so blessed to be able to enjoy her exquisite cooking & baking. We will miss her dearly. Our family wishes to express our deepest gratitude to the staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, as well as all of the medical & support staff at Juravinski Hospital Unit E4, for all of the care and compassion demonstrated towards our mother in her final days. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., on Wednesday, May 17 from 2-4p.m. and 5-8p.m. with Vigil Prayers on Wednesday at 2pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Stoney Creek, with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, we respectfully request donations be made to either the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice or to the Juravinski Hospital.
