Peacefully at Oneida Long Term Care Home, on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, Archie A. Fletcher, formerly of Glanworth, in his 100th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Ethel nee Baker (2013). Survived by his sister Florence (late Russell) Manning of Brandon Manitoba. Cherished father of Bonnie Murray (Charlie), Ray Fletcher (Cathy), Carl Fletcher (Kathryn), Nancy Harper (Ron), and Marie Levers (Andy). Proud grandfather of Alex Murray (Alana), Lisa Richardson (Blair), Andy Fletcher (Sarah), Rebecca Wilson (Stuart), Jean (Zack Kruzins), Neil (Hailey), Mark (Tiffany), and John Fletcher, Allison Wierenga (Jason), Scott, Brett (Eryn Stewart), and Stacey Harper (Mark Belmore), and Alyssa Willetts (Patrick Sandlak). Loving great grandfather of Cameron and Landon Richardson, Boden Murray, Claira and Maxwell Fletcher. Grace and Fletcher Wilson, Evelyn Fletcher, Henry, Logan and Nico Wierenga. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters-in law Donald (May), Duncan (Maryon), Mason, Murray (Ann) Fletcher, and sister Agnes (late George) Foster. Predeceased by sister-in-law and brother-in-law Beatrice and Jim Henderson. Loved by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.

Friends may visit at the McFarlane & Roberts Funeral Home, 2240 Wharncliffe Rd., S., Lambeth 519-652-2020 on Monday Nov. 13 from 6-9 pm where the celebration of Archie’s life will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023 at 11:00 am. Reverend Mark Perry officiating. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery. Donations to Belmont United Church or the charity of your choice acknowledged.
