Burkhart, Annie (Martin)
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at her residence at the age of 70 years.
Beloved wife of Lorne Burkhart. Mother of Maynard and Dianne Burkhart of Holstein, Marilyn and James Martin of Alma, Dennis and Dorothy Burkhart of Holstein, Marvin and Marie Burkhart of Wallenstein, Grace and Leon Brubacher of Alma. Survived by 33 grandchildren. Sister to Orlan and Ella Martin of Drayton, Orvie and Eileen Martin of Wallenstein, Ernie and Sharon Martin of Alma, Eileen and Albert (2022) Frey of Palmerston, Melvin and Shirley Martin of Wallenstein, Wilma and Wayne Brubacher of Wallenstein. Sister-in-law of Amos (2021) and Elvina Burkhart of Wallenstein, Anna and Vernon Martin of Elmira, Leonard and Erma Burkhart, Paul and Esther Burkhart all of Wallenstein, James and Laura Burkhart of Hawkesville, Naomi and Allen Martin of Elmira.
Predeceased by her parents Laverne and Elvina Martin and sister Mary in infancy.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 6, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 from 2-5 p.m. at the home of Lorne Burkhart, 5690 Buehler Line, RR 1, Wallenstein.
A family service will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 9 a.m. then to Weaverland Mennonite Meeting House for burial and public service.
