Annette Marie Pletten (nee Boland) – Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the age 71 years.
Predeceased by her parents: Mary and William Boland; brothers: John W. and Eric Boland; sisters: Mary Hillier, Selina Boland, and Bernadette Boland; grandparents: Alexander and Mary Ellen Boland, John W. and Bridget Stacey; sister-in-law: Liv Randi.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband: Age Pletten; son: Christopher Short (Laurie); daughter: Heather Walsh (Ryan); special grandchildren: Madeliene, Christina, Samantha, Dakota, and Megan; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers: Allan (Mary), Edward (Betty), Louis (Anne); sisters: Evelina (Peter); brother-in-law: John (Nellie); sister-in-law: Phyllis Isaacs (Herb); brothers-in-law: Leif Magnus and Odd Lyder (Laila). As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
We would like to acknowledge the staff at the Dr. Leonard A. Miller Centre for the love, care, and compassion they showed for Annette and her family at this difficult time.

Wednesday, August 21 from 2:00-9:00pm

At the Church of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church in Point May, NL on
Sunday, August 25 from 2:00pm to 9:00pm
Monday, August 26 from 11:00am to 1:00pm
Funeral Mass to follow at 2:00pm from the Church of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church and inurnment to follow.
Flowers will be gratefully accepted by the family or donations may be made to the Cancer Care Foundation.
