Anne was born on October 1, 1933 in Dundurn, Saskatchewan to Henry and Eugenie Dyck, the second of six children. Her family moved to BC in 1945 and to the Fraser Valley in 1948.
After high school, Anne worked at the Bank of Nova Scotia in downtown Vancouver. The family attended First United Mennonite Church, where she was baptized in 1953.
On August 14, 1954, she married Walter Goertz in Aldergrove. They moved to Richmond in 1959 and, with the exception of 2 years in Fort Nelson, she lived there for the rest of her life. They had three children. In addition to caring for her family and maintaining the financial records for the family business, Anne served in her church, at the MCC thrift store in Vancouver and at the Richmond Food Bank.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, service and love.
Anne is survived by her 3 children: Lorna Goertz, David (Wendy) Goertz and Pauline (Tim) Harder; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
