LUCAS, Anna Ruth – In loving memory of Anna Ruth Lucas (née Turnbull), who was born on March 18, 1931, and calming left this world to go home to Heaven and be with her Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, on January 20, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Hubert Lucas, and mother of Ruth Langfeld (Lorne), Joan Kerr (John), and Mark Lucas (Mary). She was predeceased by her sister Grace Gork, Alma Turnbull and survived by her brother Ron Turnbull and sister, Irene.
She enjoyed working alongside her husband on many projects as well as serving her family and others in many ways.
Visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Thursday, January 25th from 6:00 – 8:00pm, and on Friday, January 26th from 10:00am until time of funeral service in the chapel at 11:00am. Reception to follow at Victoria Road Gospel Hall, 1108 Fenel Road, Kirkfield (North of Glenarm Road). Interment will take place in the spring at Smith Cemetery, Woodville. In lieu of flowers, Hubert requested that donation be made to the Bethany Christian Living “Bethany Lodge” in Unionville, Ontario.
