Anna Kemp of Mitchell passed away peacefully at West Perth Village, Mitchell on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 in her 102nd year.
Beloved wife of the late Alvin Kemp (1997). Dear mother of Ruth Ann Gray (Larry), Gary Kemp (Sandra), Brenda Kemp and Barry Kemp (Glenda). Loving grandmother of Scott (Josie), Casey (Laura), Tim (Jaime), Brittany (Jordan), Carly, and Matthew. Cherished great grandmother of nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents John and Janet «Jessie» Hamilton, brother Robert Hamilton (Audrey) and sister Mary Elliott (Lorne).
Anna enjoyed helping her husband on their farm at Munro for many years. She was always interested in her grandchildren’s activities and was a woman of many talents. She was a dedicated member of the United Church Women first at Munro and then at Main St. United Church in Mitchell.
Friends will be received at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal St., Mitchell on Saturday, May 11, from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Lockhart Reception Centre. Memorial donations to Woodland Cemetery (Main St. United Church) would be appreciated and may be made at LockhartFuneralHome.com.
