It is with heavy heart that we announce that Ann Nemi, has passed away the afternoon of Monday, August 12, 2024 at McKenzie Richmond Hospital.
She leaves behind a loving family and will be deeply missed by her two sons, Derek and Keith Nemi, granddaughter, Kiana Nemi, and daughter-in-law Claudia Nemi, her brother, Peter and sister in-law May McGillivray, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Let us not forget and remember her pre-deceased beloved husband Joseph Nemi and brother John McGillivray.
Ann Nemi was born on December 28, 1945 in Glasgow Scotland and moved to Canada as a young woman in search of her career and start a family.
She loved spending time watch Coronation Street, listen to her audiobooks outside in the warmth of the sun. She enjoyed listening to her music which took her back to her childhood and spending quality time with the family, the dogs and challenging Kiana on her schooling and hearing all about her paramedic work in the ER and in the ambulance.
Her cremation is currently taking place, a celebration of life to follow in the coming weeks.
