Anita Desjardins (Trudel)
The family announces with great sorrow the peaceful passing of Anita Desjardins at the Timmins and District Hospital on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Guy Desjardins (January 12, 2024). Loving mother of Dominique Desjardins and Brigitte Esposito (Tony). Cherished grandmother of Daniel Desjardins (Shania), Sylvie Desjardins (Erick Lamminen), Marc Desjardins (Kyanna), Justin Desjardins and Eric Desjardins (Sarah) as well as great grandmother of Tyson, Sadie and Kohen. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Gisele Bourque (late Marcel) and Yvette Lapalme (late Jean-Paul) and her brother Armand Trudel (late Jeanne). The family would like to express gratitude to the Timmins and District Hospital emergency and Hospice staff for their care and compassion.
A funeral service will take place on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 1pm from Miron-Wilson Chapel. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception lounge. Remembrance donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated. The family will receive friends and family on Sunday from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
