Obituary
Our hearts are broken to announce the passing of Anita Wilma Pade, 93, which occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Born May 16, 1929 in Hamburg, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Jonni and Klara (Geborene) Oestmann.
Anita was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching Football and Baseball, especially when the Toronto Blue Jays were playing. She found joy in scratching lottery tickets, watching TV game shows but more importantly spending time with her family, who she loved dearly.
Anita is survived by her cherished son Robert (Debbie) along with her two grandchildren: Natasha (Jason) and Jennifer (Bruce). Also left to mourn are her two great grandchildren: Austin and Beau.
In addition to her parents, Anita is predeceased by her brother Jonni.
Our family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and care team of Rocmaura Nursing Home for their care and compassion shown towards Anita and our family throughout the last few months.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Although there will be no formal funeral service, visitation hours will be held on Sunday, February 12th, 2023 between the hours of 3-7 PM.
Memorial donations towards the Rocmaura Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
