Campbell, Angus Alexander «Sandy»
passed away peacefully in St. Joseph’s Health Centre,
Toronto, ON, on January 8, 2024, at the age of
80.
Born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the
late Joseph James and Sarah Catherine
Campbell.
Sandy was active in sports in his younger years
especially in Hockey and Baseball in the Antigonish
area. He continue his love of sports as an avid spectator
right up to his passing.
He left home in his early years to find his fortune in
Toronto, ON as did many young Nova Scotians at that
time.
After several years in T.O., Sandy found his calling as
a self employed general contractor in both new
and remodelling construction projects for over 40
years and became quite well known for his expertise in that
field.
Sandy is survived by his daughter, Lee Anne; her
mother, Susan Campbell; brothers, Gregory (Philomena); Linus; Douglas
(Sandra); niece, Lee Ann (Craig) McDonald; nephews, Joseph (Arlene)
and Allan.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his partner,
Dee.
The Family of Sandy wish to thank the

The medical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital
for the care and kindness shown to Sandy in his final
days.
Thanks to his long time neighbour and friend who saw
that he received the necessary medical care in his final
days.
Thanks to his old friend and co worker, Tom for his
daily visits and all he did for Sandy during the months prior to his
passing.
Thanks to his landlord, client and friend for making
funeral home arrangements, and closing Sandy’s
apartment.
Cremation has taken place, and a graveside
service at St Ninian Cemetery in Antigonish, NS on Tuesday, May 21,
2024 at 2:00 PM.
