Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angelina Ricci on March 31, 2024, at the age of 100. Beloved wife of the late Alberto. Caring and devoted Mother to Tony (Bev) and Roger. Proud Nonna to Julianne (Darren), Robert (Kari), Christina, Darren, Christopher and Amanda, and Bis Nonna to Alisha, Katelyn, Cameron and Abigail.
Angelina left Pisterzo, Italy, for Canada with her two young sons in 1952. She traveled for three weeks across the Atlantic Ocean on the ship “Saturnia” and joined her Husband to start their lives together as a family in Toronto, Ontario.
Angelina enjoyed singing in the choir of the Pisterzo Social Club. She was an avid gardener, tending to her vegetable garden well into her 90’s. She enjoyed knitting and cooking. Her home made lasagna was a family favourite. Angelina will be remembered in the hearts of many family and friends.
