God called Angelina (Angiolina), daughter of Antonio and Concetta (D’Alimonte) Di Nardo, peacefully on January 26th, 2023, at the age of 92. She has reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Agostino. Cherished by her dear children, John (Antje), Tony (Nancy), Dan (Lisa), Linda (Daniel Pellegrini) and Frank (Kaycee). Proud and loving Nonna to Michael (Lauren), Robert (Claire), Laura, Matthew, Natalie, Gregory, Catherine, Zachary (Nicole), Mariah, Christina (Adam), Daniella (Brian) and Victoria (Marco). Adoring Bisnonna to Ava, Lia, Madelyn, Alessia and Chiara. Along with her husband and parents she will be reunited in heaven with her siblings Francesco, Agostino, Maria, Pietro, and Vittorio. Angelina will always be fondly remembered by her siblings Giuseppe, Rosalina, Luisa, and Giovanni. A special thank you goes out to Dr. Eric Horlick, Interventional Cardiologist who cared for Angelina and helped extend her life for many years and to Angelina’s caregivers, Ana, Daria, Jennifer, and Susan.
Angelina was an extraordinarily strong, intelligent woman who loved her family and friends without condition. Much of her strength and endurance came from caring for her husband, daughter, sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Indeed, it was that joy and happiness which inspired her to live a long and full life despite her afflictions. She will live on in our hearts and never be forgotten. If so desired, donations in memory of Angelina can be made to the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre, UHN or the Toronto Cardiac Clinic.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday, January 29th, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. and Monday, January 30th, 2023, from 2-4 6-8 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church. (8500 Islington Ave., south of Langstaff Rd.). Entombment at Queen of Heaven (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7) to follow.
