ROGERSVILLE, NB – Angela Hanna 63, of Rogersville
passed away at her residence on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
Born in Greenock, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late William
Boyd and Mary (Anderson) Boyd.
Angela was a rock climber in the UK and a Charge nurse in
Cardio Thorasic at Inverclyde in Greenoch. She was a community nurse
in St. Johns, Nfld and London, ON. Her contributions to setting up
telephone triage for an American company and New Brunswick from
Ontario and her teaching of nursing in the UK were significant.
However, her immense love for animals, especially her cats, truly
defined her kind and caring nature.
Angela will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Jeff Hanna
of Rogersville; her mother, Mary Boyd of Greenock, Scotland; her
children, Lyndsay McColl of Aberdeen, Scotland, David McColl of Stone
Haven, Scotland, and Iain McColl of Aberdeen, Scotland; and her
beloved grandchild, Findlay.
She is also survived by her brothers, Tom Boyd (Karen) of
Marcay, France, and Robert Boyd (Danielle) of Belmont, California, and
her nieces and nephews, Ainsley, Sophie, Emily and
Callum.
As per Angela’s wishes, there will be no visitation
or funeral service.
