God called Amalia peacefully on April 21, 2023 at the age of 97. She is now reunited in Heaven with her husband Stefano. Cherished by her dear children Michael (Eliana), Mina (Enzo) and Antonio. Proud Nonna to Nives (Domenic), Stephen, Riccardo, Adrian (Stella), Kristina (Gabriel), Stephanie and Marc-Anthony. Adoring Bisnonna to Stefano, Alessia Mia, Michael, Matthew, Marc, Max, Romeo, Maya, Silia and Luc. Amalia will always be remembered by her brother Carlo and sister-in-law Anita. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. If so desired, donations in memory of Amalia may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Wednesday April 26, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday April 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Avenue, south of Langstaff Road). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (on Jane Street, north of Steeles Avenue).
