Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Centre at Harbour Breton on Friday, August 25, 2023, Alphonsus Abraham Bungay, age 81 of Harbour Breton.
Alphonsus leaves to mourn his loving family: sons, Eric (Marie) at Harbour Breton and Donald (Cynthia) at Dartmouth, NS; daughters, Michelle (Archie) at Harbour Breton, Kimberly at Edson, AB, Denise (Randell) at Harbour Breton, Renee (Brodie) at Edmonton, AB and Sandra (Trent) at Harbour Breton; fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brother, Donald Bungay at Harbour Breton; in laws, Patsy and Peter Jarvis, Wilfred and Violet Ashford, Effie Ashford and Theresa Ashford, both at Harbour Breton; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Alphonsus was predeceased by his wife, Monica; parents, Alphonsus and Mary Bungay; brothers in law, Thomas Ashford and Kevin Ashford;
Visitation will take place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Sunday, August 27 from 7pm to 9pm and Monday, August 28 and Tuesday, August 29 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm both days.
Funeral Service will be announced later.
