It is with great sadness that the family of Allister Brown, of Marystown, announce his passing on April 28, 2023 at the age of 59, at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre.
Allister will be lovingly remembered by his brothers: Winston (Elizabeth) of St. John’s, Keith (Elizabeth) of Rock Harbour, Basil (Geraldine) of Shea Heights, Colin (Linda) of Valleyview, AB; his daughter, Kayla of Marystown; and a large circle of relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, George & Rita, he was predeceased by his brother Wade and his sister Gloria.
The family would like to express their gratitude, and send a heartfelt thank you, to Allister’s health care team at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre. A very special thanks goes to his care workers, Rhonda and Sandy, whose kindness, compassion, and dedication helped him navigate all the health challenges that came his way. We will be forever grateful to you both.
To respect Allister’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date. If you wish a memorial donation in Allister’s memory can be made to St. Peter’s Church in Rock Harbour.
Those we love never truly go away. They walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed, and forever in our hearts.
