KLAR, Allan – It is with deep sadness the family of Allan Klar announces his passing on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in his 88th year at Royal Rose Place. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Cook) for 62 years. Loving father of Alexandra and Douglas and dearly beloved grandfather of Abby, Ethan, Luke, Mason, Ryann and Willow. He was very fond of his twin sisters-in-law Fidell and Fern (Bob) and brother-in-law Lorne (Denise). Allan was an avid golfer at Cardinal Lakes in Welland, and long-time member of the Welland Curling Club. He enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre, and was an enthusiastic gardener. He and Helen loved to travel and had many interesting trips all over the world. We especially want to thank the staff at Royal Rose for their loving and compassionate care during his stay there. Family and friends are invited to remember Allan at a Celebration of Life being held at Cardinal Lakes Golf Club, 105 South Pelham Road Welland on Friday, December 13, 2024 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
