Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family, Alison “Louise” Buckle on December 6, 2024 at the Health Science Center, age 80 years.
Louise was predeceased by her parents Gerard and Florence (Head) Buckle, brothers Angus (Jean), Jerry (Paulette) and David, and her sister Mary Casella.
Leaving to mourn, her son Gerry (Moncton, NB), daughter and best friend Sharon. Grandchildren Rachel and Nick Sellers and Kimberly. Sisters Christine (George) Green, Barbara (Greg) Connors and sister-in-law Maxine Buckle as well as 3 great-grandchildren. Life
long friends, Carolann White, Helen Grouchy, Florence Summers and Judy Ryall, as well as many nieces and nephews along with a large circle of family and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. O’Shea, the nurses and care workers of Chancellor Park 3 East for their wonderful care of Mom.
Mom was known for her kindness and ready smile. She loved a good game of cards and played whenever she could. Mom also had a wicked sense of humor, and unless you knew her well, would have you wondering if she was serious or not. Mom was a strong woman who worked hard while raising her 2 children alone. When her grandchildren were born, she claimed them as “her babies” and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for them.
We will mourn her passing but we will forever be grateful and blessed to call her Mom – Nan – Sister – Friend.
Visitation to take place on Sunday, December 22, from 12noon-4pm at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road. Funeral service will be held from Caul’s Chapel on Monday, December 23, 2024 at 2:30pm.
Rest in peace Mom, you are so loved and will be greatly missed!
