Alexander “Alex” Simpson
June 3, 1942 – February 22, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alex on February 22, 2024. Alex was born in Forfar, Scotland on June 3, 1942, immigrated to Canada and resided in Milton, Ontario. Beloved husband of Dorothy, loving father to Doreen Dec (Kevin), and adoring grandfather to Colin. Loving brother to Bella Davidson (Brian), uncle to Brian Davidson (Fiona), great uncle to Scott Davidson and Ross Davidson (Lauren). Predeceased by his brother (Pearce).
Alex cared deeply for his family and friends and always enjoyed spending time with them. The family would like to thank Dr. Sidhu and the medical team at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, especially the Palliative care team.
Family and friends are welcome to gather for a Celebration of Life for Alex on Saturday, March 9th at 1:00pm
in the Emerald Lounge at Ned Devine’s Pub located at 575 Ontario Street South, Milton, Ontario.
Food and refreshments will be served, and a tribute to be shared at 2pm.
If desired, donations in memory of Alex can be made to the charity of your choice.
