Couchie, Albert Leonard- Passed away peacefully at Cassellholme Home for the Aged, on Friday January 13th, 2023 at the age of 95.
Beloved husband of 70 plus years to June (nee Villeneuve). Devoted and much loved father of Jerry, Wayne Kodje (Josepha Marenco), Brenda (Michael Restoule), Jim, Debrah (Steve Buchanan), Jolene (Mike McColeman), Cathy (Crystal Stevens), Fred Bellefeuille and Derek (Carrie-Ann St. Martin).
Loving grandfather to his cherished grandchildren Robert Couchie, Daintre Christensen, Natasha Nicol, Treana Couchie-Chretien, Valerie Mamolliti, Keith Couchie (predeceased), Holly Golabek, Stephen Penassé, Chris Penassé, Mario Vaughan, Jacqueline Vaughan, Steven Kodje, Kevin Restoule, Melissa Traucht , Emily Restoule, Craig Major (predeceased), Brendan Huston, Tyson Dunlop, Christine Unger, James Unger, Jordan Unger, Megan Stevens, Kirah and Owen Head, Sparrow, Sage, Cree, Summer and Brooke Couchie.
Ted is great grandfather of 30 great grandchildren who will miss him dearly. Predeceased by siblings Harry (Annie), James, Ephraim (Barbara) Wilfred (Margaret), George (Winnifred), Elizabeth (John Dokis), Irene (Moise Dupuis), Doreen (Willie Miller), Edward (Hilda) and Helen (Francis Sarazin). Survived by one sister Josephine Doolittle (Jack -predeceased).
Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd on Thursday January 19th from 11am until time of service at 1:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Cassellholme Home for the Aged will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
