Albert Dick Sr. passed away at the age of 95 in Thompson, Manitoba on Sunday, June 9th, 2024. He passed away peacefully at the Thompson General Hospital with his family by his side.
Albert was born on December 24th, 1928 in Natawahunan, Manitoba. He then moved to Pikwitonei, Manitoba.
Albert grew up in Pikwitonei and this is where he met his wife, Joyce. Joyce and Albert had 6 children together.
Albert spent most of his life outdoors providing for his family.
He was a trapper, fisherman and hunter who loved to eat wildmeat and fish. He loved watching hockey and baseball.
Albert was a kind, loving, caring man towards everyone he knew.

Russell (Cynthia), April, Pamela, Russell Jr, Courtney
Albert Jr. (Marjorie), Ashley, Alicia, Aaron
Kevin (Eileen), Alexis, Kristen, Faithy, Lacey
Valerie (Randy), Arialle, Kale, Raidyn

He is also survived by his sisters: Margaret and Nelly, lifelong friend: Teddy (Edward) Carter and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Albert was predeceased by his beloved wife: Joyce, mother: Sarah, sisters: Josla, Helen, Emily and his brothers: Kenneth and Sandy
Wake Service held on Thursday, June 13th, 2024 from 7:00pm to 12:00am at St. Lawrence Hall in Thompson, Manitoba.
Funeral Service held on Friday, June 14th, 2024 at 1:00pm at St. James Anglican Church. With final viewing from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Officiated by Rev. Jean Arthurson. Interment to follow at the Thompson Cemetery. Feast to follow interment back at the church.
