Obituary of Alan Deveau
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Alan Deveau on Wednesday December 25, 2024, at the age of 63. Beloved husband to Victoria, father to Samantha (Paul), Lauren (Bret), Brandon (Megan), Brianna and Riely (Anna) and grandfather to Mikayla, Kohen and Kaleb.
Predeceased by his father Eugene and survived by his mother Shirley. Brother of Brenda (Niko), son-in-law of Sandra (late Clarence) and brother-in-law of Connie (Dan), Kelly and Cathy. Alan is also survived by a large and loving extended family including many nieces and nephews as well as countless friends who were like family to him.
Known for his quick wit and infectious humor, he could brighten any room with a joke or a heartfelt laugh. He had a passion for cars of all ages and could always be found in the garage. Alan had a giving heart, always ready to lend a hand or share what he had with others, no matter how big or small.
He leaves behind many cherished memories for his family and friends. While his presence will be deeply missed, his laughter and lessons will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life, come and go, at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Sunday, January 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Sault Ste. Marie.
