SPIRO, Alan Samuel – Born – 8 August 1931 Alan Spiro passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on 18 February 2024. Alan was born in London, England but spent the majority of his life in Canada. He is predeceased by his wife Harriett Spiro (nee Saloman), his sister Rosalie Weisman (nee Spiro) and his grandson Marcus Spiro. He was the father and father- in-law to Robert and Dianne Spiro, Andrea and Aaron Badgley, and David and Lorena Bailey. He was the grandfather to Emily Badgley, Linda Badgey and Kira Spiro. He is fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and his extended family. Alan was a devoted and loyal friend, who also enjoyed golf and playing bridge. He will be missed by all. There will be a private funeral on Wednesday. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Sunnybrook Hospital. Donations to Heart and Stroke Canada in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciate.
