Alan Richard Peebles, of Hanover, passed away at Chapman House Residential Hospice, Owen Sound on Tuesday, February 13, 2024. He was 62.
Born in Georgetown on September 1, 1961 to the late Frederick and Yvonne (nee Croft). Alan was an IT Manager for Musashi Auto Parts in Arthur. He was an avid reader as well as a car enthusiast and loved family game nights.
Survived by devoted wife Margaret Anne «Margie»(nee Hunt) of Hanover. Loved father of Connor and Alana. Fondly remembered by his siblings Janet (Tom) Brown and Diane (John) Zandvliet, as well as his in-laws John (Darlene) Hunt, Jane Voisin, Carolyn (Mark) Ducharme, Elaine (Doug) Hill, mother-in-law Betty Hunt, as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents, father in law John Hunt and brothers in law Rick (Sally) Hunt and Doug Wainscott.
A Private Family Service will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Cremation has taken place with spring inurnment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Carlsruhe, Ontario.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Chapman House would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
