A Holocaust Survivor
Peacefully, on Monday, March 25, 2024, in her hundredth year. Beloved wife of the late Laszlo for fifty-nine years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Zoltan and Leslie, Peter and Daphna. Cherished Grandma of Alex and Liz, Sara and Mike; Naomi and Matty, Eric and Melanie, and Elan. Proud Great-Grandmother of eleven: Bella, Elana, Shira, Benyamin, Arielle, Meir, Zev, Gavriella, Eva, Mila, and David. Daughter of the late Zoltan Herskovits, who perished in the Holocaust, and the late Ilona (Schwartz). Agnes will be missed by her family, friends, and all those who knew her. Special thanks to Emma Caballes for her devotion, and to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at the Donald Berman Jewish Eldercare Centre for their compassionate care.
Graveside service from Paperman & Sons on Tuesday, March 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chevra Thilim Pinsker Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Peter and Daphna’s home Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Morning and evening services at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue.
