Abitong-Simard – Adrien, beloved son, brother & nephew, passed away suddenly in North Bay on September 27, 2023 at the age of 20. He is survived by his mother Nicole Abitong &father Richard Simard, Maternal grandparents Debbie Abitong & Harold Nawash, Paternal grandparents Louise & Wayne Howe and predeceased by grandfather Michel Simard. Loving big brother to Brayden. Missed by Freddy, Max & Ruby. He will be forever missed by aunts Amy (Chad), Victoria, April (Ben) and Lisa (Adam). Nephew to uncle’s Jason Kimewon & Jason Cumming. Cousin’s Derek, Oliver, Rowan, Alexa, Jayden and Jase. Special nephew to Bernice, Lorna, Linda, Tracey and Jeffrey. Adrien will be remembered by many great aunts , uncle’s and cousins. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at North Bay Regional Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation starts on October 1, 2023 in the New Community Centre, Sagamok at 2 PM. Funeral Service on October 3 in the New Community Centre at 11 AM with cremation to follow. Adrien gave in death as he gave in life. Adrien gave the gift of life through organ donation. The hardest goodbyes are the ones we don’t get to say.
