It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Aunt, and friend, Adelene Johnson. Ady passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
Ady was predeceased by her parents, Katherina and Stephan Barth; husband, Lyle; ten brothers and sisters, and numerous in-laws.
She leaves behind her children Trudy (Don) Uhl, and Mark (Elaine) Johnson; grandchildren, Danielle (Neil), Nicole (Kanan), Justin (Hannah), Lindsay (Chev), Chase (Whitney), Devon (Alex) and Braden (Chelsey); as well as nine great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and beloved friends.
Ady was born on September 7, 1927. She later met Lyle Johnson, and they were married in 1951. They spent many years going to auction sales, playing cards, dancing, and farming. Ady was a doting parent and grandparent who loved to spend time with her family. She could always be counted on to watch sports or attend any functions her family was involved in. Ady loved playing ball in her younger years and catch with her grandkids in later years. She also spent many hours playing cards, playing the organ, singing and dancing.
Ady was always busy cooking, baking, making homemade noodles, gardening, and keeping a spotless house. She always made time to go for coffee and made many friends there. Ady will be remembered for her smile and her laugh.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
