It is with the utmost sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our baby brother Adam Meade. Adam passed away unexpectedly in his home in Beausejour on November 20, 2023 at the age of 54.
Adam was the youngest of 9 children born to Henry and Beatrice Meade. He was born in Pine Falls hospital and raised in LDB.
Being the baby he was greatly loved by his huge family. Adam was loving and generous and would give you the shirt off his back, but he had some choice words for anyone who crossed him or any of his family.
He worked hard for many years in the steel industry, often working alongside his nephews, whom he respected and who respected him, Vince, Elliot, Jim and Phil.
He was always good for a laugh and made people smile wherever he went.
He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Beatrice whom he missed greatly. Also by his grandparents Margaret and Louis Simard, and Allan and Lizzy Meade, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He will be greatly missed by his sisters, Lois, Jenny, Wanda, Holly, Bonnie, Rosalie and Sherry and brother Henry and his sweet little Godchild Lucy. As well his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Heartfelt thanks to special niece Lori who always looked out for him and often cooked for him or sat and had a beer with him. Thank you so much Lori for looking out for your uncle, he loved you so much. He spent a lot of time with Becky and her girls, Bridge, Liv and Layla as well and he will be missed greatly by all his nieces and nephews and their children.
A memorial service will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour on December 2nd at 2 pm with reception to follow.
Go rest high on that mountain baby brother, we will miss you forever and always.
Adam will be cremated and buried beside mom in Manigotogan at a later date.
