Obituary of Claudette Laporte
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Claudette Laporte on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 in the Pontiac Community Hospital, Shawville at the age of 72. Cherished daughter of Lionel Laporte and the late Florence Mousseau. Loving sister of Linda (Thomas Donnelly), Brian (Lyn), Vivianne (Fern Gravelle), Bobby (Michelle) and John (Diane). She is survived by a stepsister Sylvie (Gilles Mousseau) and a stepbrother Jeannot Bertrand. Predeceased by her sisters: Helene and Nicole (Jean Ippersiel). Claudette will be sadly missed by a family friend Jeanine Francoeur. Special aunt too many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to thank you Dr. Lucy Mutchmore and the nursing staff of the Shawville Hospital. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 5, 2023 in St. John the Evangelist Church, Campbell’s Bay at 11 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Donations to the Pontiac Community Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated.
