HUNT, Paulette Rose – 66, of Shag Harbour, passed away at Yarmouth Regional Hospital on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Born on September 20, 1956, she was a daughter of Louise and the late Edward Nickerson. Paulette was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Paulette loved beach glassing; she loved going for walks on the beach. She liked cooking, playing Whampoo and deer drives. Paulette always looked forward to having a house full of people. She was not just a part of her family, she was a part of multiple families. Paulette is survived by her loving kids, Jamie (Tina), Loretta (Davidson), Wanda (Allison), Travis (Bethanne); the father of their children, Robert “Bobby” Hunt; mother, Louise; grandchildren, Kiri, Rebecca (Terry), Jenna (Jeremy), Shania (George), Jordan (Sam), Cheyanne (Tyler), Shamus, and Rylan; great-grandchildren, Jake, Sophie, Hunter, Vidaliah, Allie, Myles, Dwayne, and Cleo; sister, Edna (Dean); brothers, Bruce (Debbie), Calvin (Dale), Alpheus (Loretta); special son-in-law, Darrell; sister-in-law, Blanche; two very special people in her life, Marc, Allan; and several nieces and nephews. Paulette was predeceased by her father, Edward; brother, Blanchard; sisters, Helen, Gladys; and niece, Melissa. There will be a visitation held, Wednesday 6-8 at H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
