Suddenly, at his home, in Strathroy, Ontario on December, 23rd, 2024, Lesley John Kovacs died in his sleep while watching T.V., a very good way to go.
He leaves behind his son Stephan John Kovacs (Alicia O’Neil) and his daughter Michelle Kovacs-O’Neil (Devin Geroux). He was grandfather of Shyla Mary Mason-O’Neil and Weston Michael O’Neil.
Dear son of Mary Summerfield and predeceased by his father Frank Sr. and stepfather Jack Summerfield.
Dear brother of Zoltan Kovacs (Margaret) and their son Harley and older brother Frank Steven Kovacs.
Many people in Strathroy will remember Les as the doorman at Rumours or from the many visits he liked to have at Tim Horton’s with his friends. He was a storyteller and loved to talk with people. He had a good heart and a good soul and will be missed by the many people who had the good fortune to know him.
Friends are welcome to join the family for a celebration of Les’ life on Friday, January 24th, 2025 at 11 am at Denning’s of Strathroy. Dress so you are comfortable and bring your favorite Les story.
