Lavers, Catherine Anne “Cathy” (nee McEachern)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cathy Lavers on Monday December 9, 2024, surrounded by the love of her family at Campbell House Hospice at the age of 73.
Born in Collingwood on January 17, 1951, she was a daughter of the late William and Elsie McEachern.
Cathy was predeceased by her beloved husband Allan Lavers (2008).
She was the proud and loving mother of Neil and his wife Jennifer and Craig and his wife Andrea. Cherished grandmother of Aaron, Jake and Nora.
Cathy is survived by her sister Ellen (the late Lloyd) Whitley; predeceased by brother Jim McEachern and sister Marg (Dennis) Rainbird. She will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 11, 2025, from 1-4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Collingwood. In lieu of flowers donations in Cathy’s memory may be made to CCI Alumni Football.
